HRMS SOFTWARE · SINGAPORE

The HRMS you set up before you hire an HR manager

A startup in Singapore hires fast and has nobody whose job is HR. The founder approves leave, the ops lead runs payroll, and the records live in five tools. MUST puts attendance, leave, claims, records and payroll on one database from the first employee, so the system does the admin while the team ships.

Part of HR & payroll that runs itself for Singapore SMEs.

Today

Where the hours go

HR lives in five tools

Leave in a chat group, claims in a form, records in a drive, hours in a sheet, payroll somewhere else.

Every hire is set up by hand

New joiner, new row in every sheet, new chat group, new explanation of the leave policy.

Compliance discovered late

Itemised payslips, CPF and year-end filing are learned the first time someone asks for them.

With MUST

What changes

Staff run their own HR from the phone

Clock in, apply leave, snap a receipt, download a payslip. The app is already in every pocket, and multi-language onboarding is included.

Claims read by AI

Staff snap the receipt; on-device AI reads it and fills the claim. Managers approve from the same queue as leave.

The same system at 5 and at 500

MUST HRMS runs every working day for hundreds of workers across Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. A startup does not outgrow it.

From first hire to first payroll

One human approval. Everything else computed.

  • 1 · Import the team

Employee list, departments and leave balances loaded from Excel. New joiners are added once, in one place.

  • 2 · Policies once, applied always

Leave types, work sites and approval chains configured with you. The app enforces them; nobody explains them again.

  • 3 · Staff install the app

A QR code and five minutes. Attendance, leave, claims and payslips are on the phone from day one.

  • 4 · Payroll reads the result

Approved hours and leave flow into MUST Payroll. CPF, itemised payslips and the bank file come out of one run.

Recorded at source, approved once by a human, computed and never re-typed. The three rules behind every page in this series.

Questions, answered

We are five people today. Is an HRMS premature?

No. Five people is the cheapest moment to set up records, leave policy and payroll correctly, because there is nothing to migrate. The rollout is fixed: import, policies, app install, go live, usually within a week.

Can the founder approve everything from a phone?

Yes. Leave and claims sit in one manager queue on web or phone, approved in two taps, with an audit trail. When you hire a manager, the approval chain moves to them without re-setup.

Does it handle Singapore payroll rules for a startup?

MUST Payroll computes CPF, SDL and SHG automatically, issues Employment Act-compliant itemised payslips, generates bank GIRO files and supports IR8A and IR21 year-end filing. Statutory tables are maintained as part of the subscription.
